The NU Buzz: Websites Talking About Us in 2023

So one of my sorta-secret habits is to do a web search of the podcast name a couple of times a year to see who’s talking about this little project of mine. I am always excited to see an organization or blogger list NU among some of the top podcasts - and the company I keep on these lists is humbling. There are so many good shows to make part of your regular rotation, so be sure to visit some of these links and look at some of them.

These days I’m also feeling humbled to be among these ranks considering I haven’t posted as much this year compared to previous years. I am proud to know that the quality of my work holds up even when the quantity wanes.

On this page, I’m going to be a little braggy and post screengrabs of the Nursing Uncensored features I found, but the links to the comprehensive lists are included. Whether listed in an order that plays favorites or an alphabetical list, and whether they copy my show description verbatim or editorialize it, I get so excited to see the show in print. Take a little scroll down the page to see the highlights I was able to find while stuffing my face with pizza on the couch.

Thanks to all the websites, colleges, businesses, and publications that bring attention to this content which means so much to me.

The Raves, in no particular order

i lost the link for this one and then couldn’t find it again. But I’m really flattered to be included with other creators that I personally find to be inspirational.

Shout Outs for the Blog

This is from 2022 but I had no idea they acknowledged the vlog, which I don’t promote very much.

TOP 50 NURSING BLOGS FOR NURSING STUDENTS - Siena Heights University

It was a lot of fun to scroll the web and find so many instances of people loving on the podcast and sharing it with the world. WHen I started this project back in 2017, I never would have guessed that I would still be doing it in 2023 and having people all over the world talking about it. It’s a simultaneously empowering and humbling feeling to mix up inside one person.

THank you to all my listeners, old school fans and followers on social media (I see you!) and welcome to the newbies who have just discovered this passion project of mine.

2023 has been studded with challenges for me, but things seem to be on the med. I am looking forward to a productive and exciting 2024. I have some things planned and at the same time I have the doors wide open to opportunity.

If you are interested in being a guest on the show, shoot me an email. I am cycling through old emails, and also seeking new applicants for the next season of nursing uncensored.
